After the death of his father King George V (Michael Gambon of HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE) and the scandalous abdication of King Edward VIII (Guy Pearce of MOMENTO), Bertie (Academy-Award®-nominee Colin Firth) who has suffered from a debilitating speech impediment all his life, is suddenly crowned King George VI of England. With his country on the brink of war and in desperate need of a leader, his wife, Elizabeth (Golden-Globe®-nominee Helena Bonham Carter), the future Queen Mother, arranges for her husband to see an eccentric speech therapist, Lionel Logue (Academy-Award®-winner Geoffrey Rush). After a rough start, the two delve into an unorthodox course of treatment and eventually form an unbreakable bond. With the support of Logue, his family, his government and Winston Churchill (Timothy Spall of SWEENEY TODD), the King will overcome his stammer and deliver a radio-address that inspires his people and unites them in battle. Winner of four Oscars® including “Best Picture” and “Best Actor,” The King’s Speech is based on the true story of King George VI’s quest to find his voice.
I found out that the song’s name is "Requiem form a Dream" by Enya, but there’s also a version I found from Clint Mansell and the song is the same. There’s also a version called "Mozart de Requiem" of that same song with a few changes. I’m going crazy about not knowing in which movie I heard it. So far, I know it wasn’t in Lord Of The Rings. Can anyone help me figuring this out? Can anyone tell me in what movie trailer they play that song?
Renee Brack goes on set of Aussie thriller, Redd Inc. and in Hollywood news, we find out who’s set to star in big screen movie, Gotti: Three Generations about infamous crime boss, John Gotti.
I’ve been dying to suggest a movie idea to Disney… I’ve tried writing to them (I’ve done that twice already). They’ve replied both times, but I don’t think I’m writing to the right address. I’ve called them to see if they have any news on new movie ideas, but they can’t give away movie information from the main office. I’m only 12, but I’ve written a 68 paged screenplay and a 104 paged novel, drawn pictures of the characters and done lots of animation on it already. I really want my dream to come true, but I need to know who to contact and how… So if anyone could give me an address or a phone number (preferably a mailing address) of a Disney suggestion type thing, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
