How would you do a movie trailer/announcer voice like Don LaFontaine? I know you have to speak in a deep voice, but is there anything else you have to do? Will you eventually reach this voice when you get to a certain pitch?

I’m about to be terribly obscure but I can’t help it. I remember seeing a trailer or commercial and the song in it was definitely the shins. I can’t remember the movie trailer or any lyrics to the song. The trailer is relatively new. It’s a kinda slow song but shins style. Any ideas on this one would be amazing. Again, I’m sorry for the obscurity.
